Jewelry Making Over Heat

An insight into our Manufacturing Process

The jewelry manufacturing process involves a series of intricate steps, each contributing to the creation of a unique and exquisite piece that reflects artistry, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Design Phase

  • Jewelry designers conceptualize the piece, often using hand sketches or digital software.

  • Detailed technical drawings are created, specifying dimensions, materials, gemstone placements, and settings.

Material Selection

  • Choose the appropriate metals (gold, silver, platinum, etc.) and gemstones based on the design and client preferences.

  • Materials are sourced from trusted suppliers and verified for quality.

Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

  • For intricate designs, craftsmen may carve a wax model by hand or use CAD software to create a digital 3D model.

  • The model serves as a prototype for casting.

Casting

  • A mold is created from the wax model.

  • The mold is filled with molten metal, which solidifies to form the basic shape of the jewelry piece.

Filing and Polishing

  • The cast piece is filed, grinded, and polished to refine its shape and remove imperfections.

  • This step enhances the overall finish and smoothness of the piece.

Stone Setting

  • If the design includes gemstones, craftsmen carefully set them into the piece using various techniques (prong, bezel, pave, etc.).

  • The setting secures the stones while allowing maximum light exposure for brilliance.

Engraving and Embellishments

  • Engravings, textures, or intricate details are added to the piece using specialized tools.

  • Any additional decorative elements, such as filigree or milgrain, are incorporated.

Finishing Touches

  • Final polishing and buffing give the piece its ultimate shine and luster.

  • The jewelry is inspected for any imperfections or irregularities and corrected if necessary.

Quality Control

Each piece undergoes a thorough quality check to ensure it meets design specifications, structural integrity, and finish standards.

Jewelry Accessories

Cleaning and Packaging

  • The jewelry is carefully cleaned to remove any residues from the manufacturing process.

  • It is then packaged, often in a protective box or pouch, ready for presentation or delivery.
